Job Title : Technical Support Specialist

You as a Technical Support Specialist, will be part of India Operation Center Process Automation (INOPC PA) which provides high quality evolution services, engineering and commissioning support. The team extends engineering and development support in various domains like 800xA system programming, safety systems, graphic evolution services, bid and proposals, plant electrification and hardware design and engineering. It supports businesses across the industry spectrum including oil, gas and petrochemicals, pulp and paper, metals, minerals, pharmaceuticals, and marine.
You as a Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for the below activities:-
Educationally engineer systems consisting of Symphony Plus products, together with resources from partner company, and diagnose application-related issues in the evaluation, engineering and commissioning phase
– Transfer competence of Symphony Plus product configuration, system set up, and integration with communication to system components (also from other vendors). Making the partners able to successfully deliver their own systems.
Be the link between Partner/Local ABB unit and L3 organization for troubleshooting and resolution ease of technical issues. Work closely with the global technical product support and R&D teams.
Act as teacher during workshops and tailor-made onsite training.
Your Degree in Engineering in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation with 3 to 5 years of experience in DCS , PLC and communication protocol standards and electrical device integration IEC61850, IEC61870-104, DNP3, MODBUS will be an ideal fit.
